The 2012 CMT Music Awards are a collection of both superstars and hot, new country talent. This week, stars like Carrie Underwood and Eric Church have been rehearsing their performances, while newcomers like Kip Moore, Jana Kramer and the FARM look to take the stage for the very first time. It’s been almost two years since the Band Perry released their debut album. During that time, country music fans have flocked to Kimberly, Reid, and Neil Perry as they’ve toured the country promoting their songs. If you’ve been anxiously awaiting new tunes from the siblings, there’s good news in store: the popular trio is hard at work on their sophomore album.

The Band Perry announced that next month, they will rejoin Brad Paisley for the second part of his Virtual Reality Tour. We’re sure that siblings Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry love hanging out with Paisley, but it sounds like his incredible dinner spreads are the band’s favorite part of life on the road.

Country music will be well-represented this summer for the ‘TODAY’ show summer concert series, which always boasts a lineup to look forward to.
