Quincy Exchange Club

To put on a Veteran's Parade is one thing but to get a B-25 Bomber fly over during the parade is another. Hats off to Jim Ponsot and Dick McKinney, the parade chairmen, and their parade committee for pulling this off.

It's Veteran's Day weekend and there are plenty of activities planned in the area including the 5th Annual Veteran's Day Parade tomorrow in Quincy. Last year there were 92 entries and this year the total is 93. The parade goes from 12th to 5th on Maine and begins at 10am.

Nearly 500 teams will be playing in the Gus Macker Basketball Tournament this weekend.  If you're a part of one of those teams, you will need to register before playing.  With that in mind, the Quincy Exchange Club will be holding advance registration Friday afternoon in Washington Park.
