Sometimes local and regional cities make these lists. Forbes named Quincy one of the "best small places to raise a family" a few years ago. Once, Hannibal was among the "most exciting cities in Missouri." 'Monsters and Mysteries in America' is a television series that airs on Destination America, and also on the Discovery Channel. It is a show about local legends, monsters and cryptids from around the United States. In its first season, 'Monsters and Mysteries in America' highlighted stories like the Mothman, Black Eyed Kids, and The Devil's Highway. Champ Clark Bridge in Louisiana Reopens

Water has receded from U.S. 54 on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River at the Champ Clark Bridge, and IDOT and MoDOT crews opened the road to traffic just a few minutes ago.  The bridge was closed last week due to flooding from the Mississippi River.
