Start Seeing Motorcycles

May has been proclaimed as Motorcycle Awareness Month in Illinois.

The Illinois Department of Transportation has as one of its safety objectives, to increase other motorists' awareness of motorcycles.

According to one study, approximately three-fourths of motorcycle accidents involved collision with another vehicle, most often a passenger automobile. Many drivers simply do not see the motorcycles they share the road with.
