Project Lifesaver is a program that assists families of folks with autism, Alzheimer's, Down's Syndrome and related diseases. The program helps provide electronic bands that can be placed on their ankle or wrist to help locate them if they become lost.

There will be a kickoff fundraiser for Project Lifesaver in Quincy on Tuesday, August 21st starting at 1pm in the lobby of the Quincy Senior Center at 639 York in Quincy. ESO Officer Tom Liesen will give an equipment demonstration on the program and explain why this is so important for this area.

For more information, check out the Project Lifesaver website or find them on Facebook.
