Mom, we love you but wouldn’t want to be you!

Happy Mother's Day Weekend!  If you're a mom, us guys love and appreciate you.  I have been present at the birth of all of my children and that has helped me understand two fundamental facts.  First of all, life and the moment of birth is a sacred gift from God Himself.  Secondly, I wouldn't want to be a mother for anything in the world.

I don't know how moms do it. And, I'm sure mothers are thinking "of course he doesn't understand, he's never tried to hatch a watermelon".  Truth is I'm not just talking about childbirth, although from a guy's perspective, that is terrifying.  Moms have to deal with the "three H's":

1. Hormones
2. Husbands
3. Husbands

Husbands are on their twice cause we're twice as much a pain in the backside and that's a conservative estimate.  (All ladies probably nodding in agreement right now)

As a guy, I just want you to know if you're a mom, we love you.  But, we wouldn't want to be you.  We'll just stand back and admire you as you deal with stuff we're not capable of as a species.  Happy Mother's Day Weekend!
