Luke Bryan is nominated for three CMA Awards, including the coveted Entertainer of the Year. His good fortune, he says, is "crazy."

The singer, who was also nominated for Entertainer of the Year last year, says winning that award has always been his goal.

“When I moved to Nashville, I knew that I wanted to be the Entertainer of the Year at some point," he tells The Boot. "That’s just how I moved to town thinking. It’s not because I want people to open doors for me, that’s just what I wanted to be. I wanted to work for it. If that ever happens, it will be one of the biggest defining moments of my career, and if it doesn’t ever happen, then it wasn’t meant to happen.”

Still, whether or not he walks home with his first CMA Award, the 'Roller Coaster' singer, who just performed at his fourth sold-out stadium show on his That's My Kind of Night Tour at Soldier Field in Chicago, says he's already a winner.

“I can’t believe I’m this far in the business, and I treat every day like that,” he says. “I’m going to enjoy every day like it’s my last, and I’m going to fight the urge to let nominations bum me out or not. I’m going to always fight that urge."

The 48th annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 8 PM ET on ABC.
