Fans can finally hear the new track Lady Antebellum recorded with EDM artist Audien, after their announcement of the collaboration during the CMT Music Awards.

The trio first released a 1:14 minute clip of the new track via SoundCloud on their social media pages June 26, and the full track is now available to stream via Audien’s Vevo channel and YouTube.

It’s got the trademark catchy melodies and smooth harmonies we’ve come to love and respect from Lady A, but the foundation usually built with an assortment of stringed instruments has been replaced with EDM-style synth and a drum machine. The result? A driving, dance-y pop tune you won’t be able to get out of your head. Hillary Scott’s voice soars, still keeping a bit of her country twang intact as it flows seamlessly across the choppy beats below. Charles Kelley sings like he was made for the genre, starting out the tune and accompanying Scott with flawless harmony on the chorus.

The band made headlines during the CMT Music Awards when they collaborated with DJ Zedd for a medley featuring their tune “Long Stretch of Love,” and later announced they would be releasing the collaboration with Audien.

While venturing into a different genre may seem out of left field for some fans, the band doesn’t see it as an either/or scenario.

“I’ve said the past four or five years, we need to start looking at this genre as a different thing,” Kelley explains via Rolling Stone. “It’s broad. Pop music is so broad, why can’t we be broad? And let George Strait and Josh Turner live on the same channel as Sam Hunt and Taylor Swift — why not?”

Keep an eye out for this tune to be appearing on summer jam playlists everywhere!
