You can go ahead and plan on this being a nominee for the 'vocal event of the year' award. Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert, two of country's biggest stars, have joined together for a hot, new single called 'We Were Us.'

The song is from Keith's brand new album 'Fuse' which was released just yesterday. The New Zealand born and Australian raised superstar now puts the power of 15 #1 hits, countless sold out shows and awards, and top notch talent as a singer, songwriter and guitar player to work as a duet partner. The results are certain to be huge.

Of course Miranda is no slouch herself. Although she's only topped the Billboard country charts 3 times in comparison, her career is undoubtedly as hot as anyone's. Shes also been making plenty of news for her pet rescue efforts of late, her Oklahoma tornado relief and naturally her part in Nashville's most famous marriage with hubby Blake Shelton.

'We Were Us' is one of those certain hits and it's our KICK-FM 'Pick Hit of the Week.' Take a listen...
