I will admit that I don't agree with the internet on many things, but this is an exception. Their declaration of the best 'hole-in-the-wall' breakfast place in Wisconsin is spot on and its famous for big portions.

You don't dare visit this Missouri place for breakfast unless you are truly hungry. The timid need not apply to the restaurant in Missouri just named the best 'hole-in-the-wall' breakfast joint in the state. They are a giant pancake legend.

There are many great breakfast places in Illinois that get plenty of well-deserved attention. But, there are others that just quietly go about their business without much hoopla.
