Cops and Nachos

I never thought I would be discussing cops and nachos in the same article, until now.

Join members of the Quincy Police Department and Illinois State Police for "Cops and Nachos," a fundraiser for Special Olympics Illinois.

The event takes place this Friday, (5/18) from 4 until 8 pm at Maya Mexican Restaurant, at 4420 Broadway in Quincy.

Law Enforcement Officers will be working for "tips," refilling drinks, busing tables and visiting with customers. Funds generated from this even will be used to assist local athletes in Special Olympics.

I sure hope you can stop in and help out with a great cause.
