We had a very mild winter and now I think we are about to pay for it. The Farmers Almanac is predicting the Midwest to have a sizzling scorcher summer.

I was hesitant to even share details about the severe storm chances for Missouri and Illinois Tuesday due to the extreme uncertainty about what will happen. There very much is a dangerous weather situation developing, but it will all depend on a handful of factors if anything serious happens at all.

I've done my share of traveling and will admit I've considered this possibility. Is it OK to sleep overnight in a Walmart parking lot in Missouri? That depends. Let's explore the possibility.

Every now and then I will watch myself watch an episode of Jeopardy!, and not get a single answer correct. But every now and then I get lucky. There have been a few times through Jeopardy's history when questions about Hannibal have made the show.

This does not necessarily mean we're gonna see the Property Brothers walking down Broadway in Hannibal, but it is nice that HGTV has just named the city as one of America's most charming small towns that you need to visit in 2023.

I'm gonna file this one under "tell us something we don't know", but it's still cool that Hannibal was called out as being one of the top 11 summer vacation spots by a national site.

The Hannibal and Quincy area has been fortunate to not experience the kind of tornado like the one that destroyed much of Joplin in 2011. However, there is a deep history of devasting twisters that have caused incredible amounts of damage in the tri-state area. Here are the 9 most destructive tornadoes over the past 150 years.

We are lucky to have so many great small towns in the Tri-States, but one was just named one of the Best Small Towns in the USA. And I couldn't agree more.
