Beaux Arts Ball 2013
The 83rd Beaux Arts Ball will take place at Quincy's Oakley-Lindsay Center on Sunday, December 22.
The event, a fundraiser for the Quincy Art Center, will begin at 7pm and be followed by a dance as queen candidates don their formal wear and put their best foot forward.
Tickets cost $15 in advance and $20 at the door, and can be purchased from any queen candidate. Tables can be reserved for eight people at $75 per table by calling 217-653-7900. Open seating is also available but tables require a reservation to be made no later than December 15.
In addition to the crowning of the new queen by reigning queen Alyson Tappe, 'The Beaux Arts Ball Young Woman of Achievement Award' will also be given to a young woman who has taken the additional step to volunteer at the Quincy Art Center.
