Far and Wide put together a list of the top 100 Best Small Towns in America under 10,000 people. Sorry, Hannibal you're not even considered on this list, but towns like Palmyra, Canton, and Monroe City had a chance. Unfortunately, none of those towns made the list which I think is hogwash, all three have great things about them.

What 2 Towns Made the List?

A town we've talked about a few times Sainte Genevieve, Missouri came in at number 75. Home of so many found dino bones and a dinosaur museum and is known as being the oldest town in the Show-Me State. Stay at the Silo Farm Haus, and enjoy historical museums and houses dating back almost 200 years.

Some of these homes are beautifully preserved, while others are abandoned and ramshackle, providing an eerie atmosphere that’s equally compelling (and perfect for photo-ops).

Rocheport, Missouri is pretty high on the top 100 coming in at six. To be honest, I have never heard of this town that has only 266 people living in it. So what makes this place so special? Well, it looks like if you enjoy the outdoors like hiking and bike riding this is the town to do that in. It's the home of the Katy Trail State Park.

Here, you’ll find some of the best natural landscapes that the state has to offer. Visitors also enjoy touring the town’s winery, shopping for hand-made goods and walking through historic homes.

Again, I think some Tri-State towns need to be on this list. Guess there is always next year!
