Y101, KICK-FM and WLIQ is gearing up for the 9th Annual "Load the Lobby" campaign and once again we are asking for your help.

The 7th annual Load the Lobby campaign has come to a close. Thanks to you, we were able to fill up an entire van, and an entire SUV with toys to benefit The Salvation Army's Toy Town, which will provide Christmas toys for over a thousand area children!

The Salvation Army is now taking applications in Quincy for Christmas Food Baskets and Toy Town.  They are accepting applications through this Saturday.

The 6th year of our Load the Lobby campaign for the Salvation Army has come to a close, and once again the community stepped up in a big way.

The 6th annual Load the Lobby campaign for the Salvation Army's Toy Town distribution will be taking over the KICK-FM lobby at 24th and Broadway, November 14 though December 12.

The Salvation Army will begin taking applications in Quincy for Christmas Food Baskets and Toy Town on Monday, November 18 through Thursday, November 21 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturday, November 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Worship Theater of the Kroc Center.

The Salvation Army is once again teaming up with Quincy Firefighters Local 63 to help ensure there will be toys under the tree for local kids who otherwise wouldn’t have them. The morning of Thursday, December 13th at 7:30am, firefighters will meet at Walmart in Quincy to buy some of the toy requests left on their Angel Tree.

Two more days to go for our Load The Lobby campaign! We've been updating you with pictures over the past couple of weeks and as you can see, there is still room for more! We will be accepting new or gently used toys through this Friday at 5pm, then they will be collected by the Salvation Army next week for distribution to needy families through their Toy Town program.

Our Load The Lobby campaign continues as we collect toys for the Quincy Salvation Army's Toy Town distribution which will take place December 18th and 19th. We have been updating you with pictures of our lobby as kind folks have dropped new or gently used toys by and the pic you see is what our lobby looks like as of this morning.

As you are probably aware (due to the fact that we talk about it constantly), we are asking you to help Load Our Lobby with new or gently used toys.  We've been trying to keep you updated with new pics of our lobby as new toys are dropped by.  Above, you can see that many warm-hearted folks have been kind enough to stop by.
