Sonic booms

A huge sonic boom just rattled much of northeastern Missouri and west-central Illinois, but no plane activity can explain it yet.

If you heard a loud boom over your part of Illinois today, I know what caused it. It was the result of a US Navy Blue Angel.

A few weeks ago, we experienced some strange booms that were especially prevalent over Missouri. That mystery may have been solved based on what has just been confirmed in the skies over Mountain Grove, Missouri.
