Illinois police are trying to help solve something that has been a mystery since 2007.

I've seen statistics like this shared, but they are often accompanied by a narrative that some organization or political party is trying to use to make a case. I am not a political person and that's not what I'm doing by sharing numbers that show Missouri sadly has one of the highest gun death rates in America.

It's history is rich and it's famous for some very good reasons. However, this now-abandoned Missouri bridge is also notorious for being the scene of a double murder in 1991.

There's never been a case like it. It's been over 40 years now that a Missouri town decided to kill a man described as a bully and no one ever got caught.

It's not that much of a surprise and that fact alone is sad. St. Louis has just been ranked as the #1 murder capital in America.

I've seen a zillion internet rankings of places and most of them are just opinions. In this case, I believe it might be provable by science. It's a Missouri town that has been declared the "creepiest" in America and there are a lot of very solid reasons why.
