Hundreds of stores are being closed across the U.S. Here are some of the notable chains shutting down locations.

A new report sheds light on the store's plan to close locations by the end of January.

Well, this was more than a little unexpected. There are at least 7 retailers who have announced they will be closed for a 24-hour period in Missouri during a time when they were previously open.

It's obvious that Macy's is trying to execute a massive overhaul to try and save its business. The company just announced that 150 more stores will be closing. The question for Missouri is if (or how many) stores in the state will be affected.

Citing disappointing sales in 2015, Macy's has announced a series of cost-cutting measures, including the closing of 40 of its stores around the United States. The Macy's in Columbia, Missouri at The Shoppes at Stadium is among the stores scheduled for closure.
