I've never wanted to be a movie star. What I see in my mirror every day should not be on the big screen or your TV. But, if you still hold out hopes of Hollywood stardom, I did find 6 real Hollywood movies that are casting in Missouri this year.
I am not alone in my admiration of the TV series American Pickers. I ran into one of the hosts in Missouri several years ago, but that's not the news I have to share with you. I've learned that American Pickers is coming to Missouri this June and you can be on their show.
I've heard it said that perception is reality. That's not true because I had a perception that some actresses were from Missouri and have learned many aren't. I've also discovered many famous actresses that are from the Show Me State that I never thought would be the case.
Sometimes it can be difficult for film fanatics - especially those that don't live in a giant city - to find much more than Hollywood blockbusters from local theaters. Sure there's Netflix, video stores, and some nice online options for home viewing, but what about the experience of seeing a great film with an audience?
