My girlfriend and I took a road trip recently to add to our "state list". Well, let me rephrase that. It was to add to her state list. I had already visited all of the states we drove through except one.

It doesn't feel like it's been a week yet. Seven days since we learned of the murderous rampage committed against precious children in Newtown, Connecticut. I didn't want to know the name of the killer then and I won't remember him now. But, I am actively working to remember the names and stories of the teachers and students. Here are a couple that have inspired me personally.
