Band Day

The 67th annual Mark Twain Marching Band Festival - better known as Band Day - took place Tuesday in Hannibal. 29 high school and middle school bands from around the area took part in a parade down Broadway, and several bands also performed at Porter Stadium during a field show on Tuesday evening.

The month of October is filled with kids in costumes, adults in costumes, lots of candy, pumpkins, and even a few of the year's biggest events! Here's a look at fun things to do around the Quincy/Hannibal area in October 2015.

Tuesday, October 9th will be a fun day in Hannibal if you like marching bands. It's the 64th Annual Mark Twain Marching Band Festival where high school bands from all around our region take over Broadway for a couple hours starting around 3pm. That's when the parade itself will begin followed by performances at Hannibal High School's Porter Stadium starting at 6pm.
