If you're too young to remember, life was a little different back in 1987. I can prove that with a throwback to that era showing what it was like inside a Rockford, Illinois McDonalds 35 years ago. Hopefully you'll be "lovin' it".

A YouTuber known as Mr. Extreme (I don't know his real name, but I'll call him Mr. Extreme from now on) shared some backstory about what you're about to see:

Indian Guides Apache Tribe taking a Tour of Mcdonalds (1987) in Rockford IL. I believe this was the Harrison Ave location but I could be wrong. I was one of the 5 year olds.

The employees are kindly showing these kids around including the time clock area, the VCR (yes, I said VCR) where their training tapes are and even the safe. Note: I did not write down the combination. I promise.

For what it's worth, I believe this is that Rockford, Illinois McDonalds location now.

Like Totally 80's documents all the gnarliest and rad events from 1987 including music hits from The Bangles, Whitney Houston and Madonna, TV shows like 21 Jump Street and Married...With Children and movies like Beverly Hills Cop 2. What a time. That was also the year Zac Efron and Blake Lively were born. Man, I feel old. Man, I am old.

Thanks to Mr. Extreme for this trippy throwback to a time when McDonalds was one of the prime hangout places and where every McDonalds training session was done via VHS tape. I miss those days.
