New App Helps Missouri Drivers Get Refunds For Gas
The gas tax in Missouri is about to go up as of July 1, but there is a new app that can help you submit receipts for refunds.
The (helps drivers to upload gas recipes to receive a refund, the gas tax in Missouri will increase in the next few years. On July 1 it will increase by five cents.
app will ensure you have the needed documentation to get this rebate which increases 2.5 cents for every gallon of gas, each year till 2025 at 12.5 cents. The State of Missouri requires receipt records to be stored for 3 years.
The gas tax increase is 100% refundable for Missouri drivers and this app will help keep track. There is a downside. It's only available through the Apple Store and there is a slight fee ($4.99) to download the app, but just think of how much money you will get back. It might just pay for itself. KSDK first reported about the new app for Missourians and explains that after you get it all set up it's actually pretty easy to use.
Hey, at this point getting anything back after going to the gas pump is a good thing. Whether it's just $5 or more this app seems good to have handy. Hoping that Illinois creates an app like this, but I won't hold my breath.
