A Hannibal man described by authorities as a major supplier of synthetic marijuana was sentenced to prison Tuesday in Marion County Circuit Court.

44-year-old Jimmy Atteberry was sentenced to 30 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd.

Atteberry had been found guilty in July of five counts of drug possession and delivery.

He was arrested in May of 2014 after a search of two residences on Fulton Avenue and Martin Street uncovered marijuana, synthetic marijuana, a large amount of money and other drug paraphernalia.
