If you are planning to travel this holiday season, make sure your children's car seats are installed correctly by attending this potentially life-saving event.

Safe Kids of Adams County (a program ran through the Adams Co Health Department) will be holding their last car seat check of 2017 this Friday (November 10th) from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Central Fire Station located at 906 Vermont in Quincy.

This is a free program and a great way to make sure that your child's car seat is installed correctly. Certified car seat installers will also make sure your car seat is up to code and that there have been no recalls.

The entire process takes about 20 minutes and the certified installers will also educate all parents on the proper installation of the seat. Each car is different and each seat is different, so this is a way to make sure your child will be safe as you travel for the holidays.

I have done this process a couple times. It is quick and simple and completely worth it.
