Watch Touching Moment as Scott Rolen Tells Parents 'He's In' HOF

It's what every professional athlete waits for "the call," and Scott Rolen got the call yesterday that he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. He then shared the news with his parents in a video that is going viral.

The former third baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals had a lot to celebrate yesterday and he shared the touching video of him telling his parents "he's in" the National Baseball League Hall of Fame.

Originally drafted in 1993 by the Phillies Rolen played in 325 minor league games before making his way to the "big show" in 1996 with the St. Louis Cardinals. In total, he played 17 seasons in the MLB winning eight Rawlings Gold Glove Awards, the fourth-most all-time among third basemen, and a Silver Slugger Award in 2002 and making sever appearances at the MLB All-Star Game.

Rolen is the 54th St. Louis Cardinal to be inducted into the Hall of Fame and watching him share the moment with his parents and family members I am sure will be something he remembers for the rest of his life. Rolen was one of my favorite Cardinals and watching him play third base was just fun. The Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place on July 23, in Cooperstown New York.
