Yes, the Kansas City Zoo Wants You to Name Their Baby Girl Rhino
There's a new rare baby rhino that was born recently at the Kansas City Zoo and now they're allowing you to come up with a name for her.
As we shared a week or two ago, a rare endangered rhino was born recently at the Kansas City Zoo. Earlier this week, there was the most rhino gender reveal ever announcing that this new little (but yet big) one is a girl.
The Kansas City Zoo has narrowed the name options down to 5 and you get to vote on which one you like the best. The 5 finalists for Missouri baby girl rhino name are:
- Eve
- Kiari
- Mundazi
- Azula
- Zumi
I haven't seen a deadline, but I'm guessing the Kansas City Zoo will decide on a name before Spring when this new baby rhino will likely be viewable by the public.
There aren't many eastern black rhinos around anymore sadly, so the birth of this new female at the Kansas City Zoo is reason for rejoicing for sure. If the name you pick is chosen, you'll have even better stories to tell if you road trip to the Kansas City Zoo in 2023.
