Watch a Twister that Churned thru a Field in Champaign Monday
It has been a stormy past couple of days in the Midwest with numerous wind events and even some tornadoes being reported. That continued Monday morning when video of a twister was shared as it churned through a field near Champaign, Illinois.
Illinois Storm Chasers just shared this video on their Facebook page Monday morning.
As Accuweather shared today, twisters destroyed homes in Oklahoma and Kansas overnight with reports of widespread damage.
The tornadoes even went directly through Norman, Oklahoma where the National Weather Service severe storms lab is located causing them to operate from their shelter as they shared on Twitter.
As this is a developing story with new videos likely to be shared as the storms move through Illinois, I will update this if new media is released.
