The cuts just seem to keep coming. There is now confirmation that 50 drivers along with 3 managers are about to suddenly be jobless in Missouri as the state has been notified of imminent layoffs.

The Missouri Jobs site shows yet another WARN notice has been submitted to the state showing 53 workers for Hogan Services in St. Louis, Missouri will be let go as of early June. I have located a copy of the email/letter that was sent to the Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development and the Mayor's Office for the City of St. Louis.

Here's the exact wording of the email:

"This notice is being provided pursuant to the Federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, 29 U.S.C. § 2101 et seq. (the “WARN Act”), to inform you that Hogan Services, Inc. and Hogan Personnel, LLC (collectively, “Hogan”) must institute a mass layoff effective June 6, 2025, of fifty-three (53) persons employed by Hogan at a facility located at 6701 Southwest Ave, St. Louis, MO 63143. The layoff is expected to be permanent. The layoff is the result of a cease in Hogan’s operations at the facility. The facility (which is not owned by Hogan) will not be closed and will continue to be operated by other parties."

The letter also revealed this layoff would affect the following:

  • 50 drivers
  • 2 Fleet Managers
  • 1 Operations Manger

Unfortunately, these layoffs appear to be permanent.
