If we're being honest with ourselves, we could all use a good alibi. A new one was just shared allegedly by a Missouri man who ran into a building with his truck and then blamed the crocs he was wearing for the offense.

I won't share the man's full name, but I will tell you his first name is Dale. The Smoking Gun just shared details of a Springfield, Missouri police report which includes an alibi I've never seen before.

The police report says that Dale drove his truck into this convenience store located at 5343 S Campbell Avenue in Springfield, Missouri.

The report says that Dale initially denied being in his truck when it hit the Kum & Go, but later allegedly confessed the following:

"When confronted about it, (he) admitted to being the driver of the vehicle at the time of the incident. (He) stated he was driving in his Crocs and they got caught on the pedal causing him to accelerate into the building"

Listen. I don't know whether Dale really did run into the convenience store with his trucks, but I find his alibi TOTALLY believable. Who hasn't worn Crocs and gotten the strap or the little vent holes caught on something? Answer - NOBODY.
