If you think driving through Quincy is fun in real life, wait until you see what it's like when it gets added to a very popular PC truck driving simulator. There are new screenshots showing how accurate this video game representation of Quincy will be.

I'm gonna pretend that I'm way too mature to play PC games, but the truth is I've spent over 1,400 hours in American Truck Simulator by SCS Software. They're slowly but surely adding every state in America to the game and Illinois will be one of the next maps added including a very accurate representation of Quincy. The software team just shared a bunch of screenshots showing the progress they've made so far.

A few things to note: While this game does a good job of capturing the "feel" of different parts of America, it's not even close to a 1-to-1 representation of what each location looks like. The recently released Missouri map does a good job of representing Hannibal, but they leave huge parts of the town out. You can expect the same for the upcoming Illinois map that will feature Quincy. I think it'll be a ton of fun to drive through virtual Quincy, but I sure hope they leave out all of the orange construction barrels we're all dealing with now on Broadway.
