Missouri Bracing for Multiple Days of Severe Storms
If you live in Missouri, it's not news to you that the state has seen an almost endless series of severe storm systems that have made their way across the state. That's why it may not surprise you to learn that forecasters are already talking about a good chance of severe storms in Missouri impacting the state multiple days over the next week.
This stormy outlook for Missouri comes from computer models at Colorado State University. There are multiple days where large portions of Missouri are at risk of severe storms, but there are 3 days in particular that look iffy. This is what Wednesday, July 16, 2025 looks like. The brown areas are where there's a better than average chance of severe weather.
Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19 have stormy possibilities also.
It's worth noting that there are small parts of Missouri that have storm chances on Tuesday and Thursday also. I also want to emphasize that brown is not the highest percentage of storm probability. There are 3 levels higher for storm chances than what is showing up for Missouri this coming week. Still, it would be a good idea to (again) be storm aware in Missouri as we get into next week. These computer models have been accurate in the past and likely are onto something stormy headed toward Missouri over the next few days.
