Missouri Police Looking for ATV Rider Who Ran Over an Officer

Missouri police need your help locating an individual who was riding an ATV where he shouldn't and ran over an officer who tried to stop him.

This disturbing news was shared today by the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department who say an ATV rider ran over an officer at the intersection of Main Street and East Truman Road Saturday night, April 12 at around 7pm.

The picture is kind of blurry, but he's riding black and lime green Yamaha Raptor 700. If you know anyone in the Kansas City area with one of these ATV's that might have been involved in this terrible crime, you can submit an anonymous tip through the Kansas City, Missouri Crimestoppers site or call 816-474-TIPS.

The good news is the officer is not seriously hurt and will make a full recovery hopefully, but this person is still at large. Information you have could stop this individual from harming someone else.
