It was all but a given as many have seen signs around the store, but it's now official that Bed, Bath & Beyond will be closing their Quincy, Illinois store.

USA Today reported that Bed, Bath & Beyond had added the Quincy, Illinois store to the list of locations they were shuttering the doors of. This newly updated list was shared during an earnings report that included mentions of possible bankruptcy.

Business Insider confirmed that the Quincy, Illinois store is closing which includes 8 other Illinois locations including Gurnee, Schaumburg, Fairview Heights, Champaign, Carbondale, Joliet, Vernon Hills and Bourbonnais.

There are a lot of other details shared in the Bed, Bath & Beyond that are beyond my ability to understand, but the bottom line is their national brand appears to be in a heap of trouble. Time will tell if these store locations will help Bed, Bath & Beyond to turn around their fortunes.

I don't see any specifics mentioned in their report, but it's been previously reported that the Quincy location will close their doors by April. Patch was one of the sites to estimate that the new Illinois locations mentioned in the closing report would shut the doors "within the next few months".
