Illinois Man Found Bones By His Pond Then Heard a Strange Growl

Imagine that you are walking across your property when you find bones of something that was consumed. Soon after you hear a strange growl. That was the experience of one Illinois man who shared a chilling backstory about what happened next.

There's an interesting new interview from a man named Dan from Hillsboro, Illinois with the Missouri YouTube channel Sasquatch Theory. He told a story about how he spent the better part of a day clearing land near a pond he owned not far from Hillsboro. It was shortly after that when strange things started happening.

Dan - "I had been clearing my property...once I got everything cleared...I cleared everything around my pond...I finished up around 7pm in October of 2020...I had just sat down...all of a sudden I heard a sound that sounded like someone had set a speaker by me and a lion had roared into it...I jumped up and thought...what was that?"

Dan went over to his pond to see what had caused the sound when he heard coyotes yelling and then he heard them yelping. Then the forest went completely quiet.

It was shortly after that when Dan found two bones parallel to each other next to the pond. He had never seen anything like that before.

What creature caused the coyotes to yelp and was it the same thing that left the bones by Dan's pond? Something strange happened near Hillsboro, Illinois and the truth lies somewhere out in the woods in that part of the state.
