Hannibal High Jumps into the Top 75 in Missouri High Schools List

I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Hannibal High School. It's where I graduated from many many moons ago and it's just jumped into the top 75 list for all Missouri high schools and that's quite an accomplishment.

If you're not familiar with the website, School Digger uses a lot of metrics to measure schools. They state that their methodology is done with the "release of test scores by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education". They state that their new ranking was just updated earlier this year.

Where does Hannibal High School rank now among Missouri schools?

Hannibal High School made a massive jump this year to #74 in 2023 among Missouri high schools. That's a jump of 157 over the previous year. Nice.

It's also worth noting that Palmyra came in at #79 which isn't bad at all either.

I have so many fond memories of my time at Hannibal High School (go Class of 84). The teachers tried their best despite my resistance to actual learning. I had a physics teacher who did a great job with his class. I was surprised when he passed me and when I asked him why, he told me he'd prefer to not see me again in his class. Understandable.

Congrats to Hannibal High School for making such a large improvement in the Missouri high school rankings. A jump of 157 is to be commended.
