
FBI’s Operation Restore Justice Captures 3 Suspects in Illinois
The FBI just completed a nationwide crackdown on some of the worst crimes humanity faces called Operation Restore Justice. That effort has led to the capture of 3 suspects in Illinois who are accused of heinous crimes against children.
The United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of Illinois just shared new details about Operation Restore Justice which involved the efforts of 55 different FBI offices across America. The results of that operation were remarkable with 205 child sex offender suspects being arrested and charged with crimes. Here are 3 suspects that were captured in Illinois:
- Mark Peterson, 41, of Pekin, Illinois, was charged by federal criminal complaint on April 25, 2025, with attempted enticement of a minor.
- Dalton Trader, 27, of Williamsville, Illinois, was charged by federal criminal complaint on April 29, 2025, with possession of child pornography.
- James Yeager, 51, of Springfield, Illinois, was charged by federal criminal complaint on April 29, 2025, with possession of child pornography.
All 3 of these Illinois residents are now in the custody of US Marshals. Operation Restore Justice is part of an ongoing effort by the following law enforcement agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Springfield Field Office; the Decatur Police Department; the Springfield Police Department; the Illinois State Police; the Illinois Attorney General’s Office Investigation Division, and the Illinois Secretary of State Police.
