
FBI Searching for Suspect in Illinois Armored Car Robbery
Someone robbed an armored car in Illinois and also shot a bank security guard and now the FBI are in pursuit of this suspect and offering a reward for the public's help in his apprehension.
The FBI in Chicago recently shared this bulletin on their social media pages involving a bank robbery in Brighton Park on December 23, 2025.
The FBI added the following details on their official website of what happened and a description of who they're looking for.
"The FBI's Chicago Field Office is seeking information regarding an unknown suspect who robbed an armored car and attacked an employee at the Chase Bank at 4363 S. Archer Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, at approximately 9:53 a.m., on December 23, 2025. The armed suspect made a verbal demand for funds and shot the security guard during the incident. The suspect was seen in a bronze Hyundai Elantra sedan with tinted windows and is currently at-large. He is described as a Black male, with a slim and athletic build. He was wearing a dark puffer jacket, a dark balaclava-style face mask, dark sunglasses, dark pants, and dark athletic shoes."
The FBI also says they're offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to this person's arrest and conviction. They also warn that the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
