If you ever wanted to take a peek inside some of Quincy's most beautiful homes, but couldn't because, well, you don't live there and trespassing is illegal, then we have some good news for you.

Put on by the Quincy Preserves, this year's theme is “Operation Restoration.” The 2018 Fall Home Tour will take place on October 20 and will feature homes in Quincy that are being restored or have been restored. So for a few of these homes, you'll get a never before seen look at exactly how much work goes in to a top to bottom mansion restoration.

The houses that will be on this year's tour include:

  • 231 East Avenue (being restored)
  • 166 North 18th (being restored)

The remaining three have already been restored and back to the wonderful architectural treasures. These homes make it possible for anyone to own one of these historical landmarks and be apart of Quincy's history.

  • 3015 NE Lincoln Hill
  • 335 South 18th
  • 605 North 14th

I LOVE these houses and I cannot wait for the fall tour. There is so much history in all these houses and I am so excited to see them all. And remember, tickets for these types of events in Quincy go quickly, so don't wait!

Tickets will be on sale October 1. Check back on their Facebook page for updated ticket information.
