Cheerful Home’s Resale Event Needs Donations
The Cheerful Home in Quincy is gearing up for their resale event in April, but they need your help now to make this event a huge success.
This resale event for the community that will include items for purchase for the ages of infant to school aged children. According to a Cheerful Home news release, the proceeds from this event will be utilized to refuel the Cheerful Home’s programs that get kids moving and being active and most importantly to promote play!
Here is how you can help. They are in need of items for children ages infant to 5th grade. They ask that items are in good condition for resale with no broken or extreme visible wear. The suggested items include clothing, toys, outdoor play items, books, kids furniture, kids accessories, infant and toddler items. Monetary donations would also be greatly appreciated.
If you can help donate items, please drop them off to the Cheerful Home this Friday as well as Friday, April 9 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. using the south entrance. The actual resale event will be held on Saturday, April 17th, 2021 in coordination of the Week of the Young Child.
