There are many great ways to honor our veterans this coming Veteran's Day, and one way restaurants, both locally owned and national chains, choose to honor those who served is to give them a meal on the house. It's a small offering, sure, but it could mean the world to a veteran. My dad always enjoyed going out and enjoying a meal on Veteran's Day.

Some of the places locally who are encouraging our veterans and active duty military personnel to eat free or on a major discount (do check with the the location for participation):

Applebee's: Free Meal for all active duty and retired Military personnel
Buffalo Wild Wings: Free wings and Fries on Sunday for all active duty and retired military personnel
Golden Corral: Free thank you dinner from 5-9pm on Monday the 12th (see above video)
IHOP: Free stack of pancakes for all active duty and retired military personnel on Monday the 12th
Little Caesars: Free Lunch Combo for all active duty and retired military personnel on Sunday
Texas Roadhouse: Free meal for all active duty and retired military personnel on Sunday
