Vote on Names for Grizzly Cubs Coming to the St. Louis Zoo

Two orphaned grizzly bear cub siblings are coming to the St. Louis Zoo by way of Montana, and they need names! The brother & sister were unfortunately left motherless after she had to be "removed from the population" for killing livestock and destroying property. ZooMontana took them in and cared for the cubs, and in 2017 they'll move to a permanent home in the St. Louis Zoo's new bear habitat Grizzly Ridge upon completion.

ZooMontana picked five names for the male cub, Glacier, Huckleberry (or Huck), Kootenai, Roscoe and Rocky. The St. Louis Zoo picked five names for the female cub, Finley, Helena, Skye, Urusla and Wynn. You can go to the St. Louis Zoo's website here for the next week to vote on your favorite name for each, with the winners being announced next Friday, October 7th.

I think it would have been fun to go with "Ben" and "Dani," in honor of Dan Haggerty, who played Grizzly Adams alongside his bear Ben back in the 70s. Haggerty passed away in January of this year.
