Venue Change Granted in Hannibal Bank Robbery Case
A change of venue is granted in a Hannibal bank robbery case. The first degree robbery trial of Jacob Wilson will now be held in St. Charles County after Judge David Mobley granted a change of venue.
Wilson has entered a not guilty plea to the charges following the early August robbery of the Ralls County State Bank. He was arrested on August 7 following the robbery of the RCS Bank on Veterans’ Road in Hannibal around midday August 5.
Wilson allegedly entered the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding money. The note indicated Wilson had a gun, but no gun was shown. Wilson left the bank with over $11,000 in cash. Wilson was taken into custody at his home without incident.
Wilson remains in the Marion County Jail on $100,000 cash only bond.
