Vatterott College in Quincy is celebrating the fall season with a free showing of the classic 80s movie 'The Goonies.' The dinner and a movie night is open to the public and begins at 6:00 p.m., with the movie starting at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25.

Free popcorn, chili dogs and candy will be available for everyone and there is no cost to attend. Movie goers will need to bring their own seating.

This special night will also include a canned food drive for the Madonna House of Quincy. The Madonna House is a shelter that provides a safe nurturing home environment for women and children in crisis. It serves as a residence for families experiencing crisis, such as unplanned pregnancy, job loss, separation from a spouse, or an eviction from their place of residence.  Their primary goals are to provide for the family’s basic needs and give them the tools they need to make the necessary changes in their lives.
