(PALMYRA)—A package of two Hostess Twinkies sold as a charity fund raiser during Bids for Bargains here on KHMO a couple months ago has a new owner. Carl McElwee bought the package of Twinkies during Bids for a hundred dollars. Proceeds of that sale went to Leaps of Love—a Hannibal charity benefitting childhood cancer victims and their families. McElwee put the Twinkies up for sale at a fund raiser for Mike Litteken of Palmyra to help with his expenses in fighting cancer. McElwee says the expensive treats have a new owner. Mark Bross bought the iconic snacks for 350 dollars. McElwee says Bross plans to sell the two twinkie package as a fund raiser for Relay for Life in Palmyra.
