The Best Summer Concerts in Springfield, Illinois
With concert season rapidly approaching, we're taking a look at some of the best country shows scheduled around the region. St. Louis has a ton of great country stars booked, and several big names will also be appearing in Springfield in the coming months.

The Sangamon County Fair is in New Berlin, Illinois, just outside of Springfield. Their 2015 fair lineup is a good one, and the grandstand entertainment for this year begins on Thursday, June 18. The Cadillac Three will open for Cole Swindell. Tickets are $20, and that includes fair admission, grandstand seating, and carnival rides. For an extra $10 you can purchase reserved seating for the concert.

Joe Nichols will appear with Craig Campbell at the Sangamon County Fair on Friday, June 19. Tickets are $20, which includes fair admission, grandstand seating, and carnival rides. For an extra $10 you can purchase reserved seating for the concert. Sangamon County Fair dates for this year are June 17-June 21.

Parmalee will headline the Sangamon County Fair in New Berlin on Saturday, June 20. Granger Smith will open. Just like the previous concert nights at the fair, all-inclusive tickets are $20 for admission to the fair, carnival rides, and grandstand seating for the show. Reserved tickets will be sold for an additional $10.

The first country date at this year's Illinois State Fair will be Sunday, August 16, when Justin Moore, Josh Thompson and Jon Pardi will perform. VIP tickets are $46, track tickets are $31, tier 1 tickets are $31, tier 2 tickets are $26, and tier 3 tickets are $21.
