I may not be the most objective person in the world since I've had many family members serve in the Missouri National Guard, but I always know they have our back. More proof of that as pictures show they are out rescuing stranded motorists from the most recent snowstorm.

It's not only April, but the last half of April. Tax Day has come and gone. Easter is over. We're just a little over a month away from Memorial Day. And there were snow flurries this morning. What?

Snow. We've got a bunch of it. A lot fell last week. Quite a bit fell on Tuesday morning. Because of the heavy snow accumulations, pretty much every school in the area was closed, government offices shut down and community events were postponed. What if it were possible to get a "snow day" and use it to get out of anything in the world? Anything at all. What would you choose?

Just as February was winding down, and it looked like this winter wouldn't be much of a winter at all, our area received two major winter storms in less than a week.
