There are news events that take place as we live our lives that affect us to the point that we always remember where we were when we first heard the news.

I'm not normally a big fan of "This Day in History" blogs.  Everyone knows that July 4th is a special day.  And, most are also probably aware of all the gift-giving that happens on December 25th.  What about June 5th?  Sure, something important happened today.  As it turns out, not so much.
