Looks like there will be no public pool in Quincy opened this summer. The Quincy Park District announced yesterday that the Indian Mounds Pool season will be cancelled for 2020, in order to keep everyone safe from COVID-19. It's sad to see this not open, but the Illinois Department of Public Health is recommending that all pools and splash pads in the state of Illinois remain closed for the summer

The Quincy Park District is getting ready for a very buys summer. With the opening of Lakeside Coffee, the batting cages and mini golf, there are several youth sport activities that are coming this summer.

There will be more place to go for walks and ride bikes very soon. The Quincy Park District will be opening all of the parks by Monday.

The weather is finally warming up here in the Tri-States, and the Quincy Park District is wasting no time in announcing their Outdoor Concert Series and Movies in the Park Line-up for 2019.
