Daytona 500

The Bud Shootout is this weekend. Except it's not called the "Bud Shootout" anymore. The powers that be (and the lords of corporate sponsorship) have determined the first NASCAR exhibition of the year will be called the "Sprint Unlimited".  Did I mention that I hate my cell phone?  Different subject.  Bottom line is I get to get me some NASCAR on TV this weekend and that's all

The only way that the Daytona 500 gets any better for us NASCAR fans is if the Zac Brown Band ends up performing prior to the race. Well, guess what? We get our wish! Word is that the Zac Brown Band will indeed perform prior to the start of this year's Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 24th! Boogity, Boogity, Boogity...let's go racin, boys!

I am exhibiting all the signs of an addict. Nervous twitches. Random yelling. Inhaling unhealthy amounts of energy drinks. I'm surprised the authorities haven't checked my shed. No, I'm not running a meth lab. It's just that I miss NASCAR and the Daytona 500 can't get here quick enough.
